BEFORE YOU MAKE THE MOVE
Good questions. Clear answers.
Can I download Alive Transfer today?
Not yet. We are preparing the first release. We will share a download and confirmed availability here when it is ready.
What will I need?
A Mac, Chrome with the Alive Transfer extension, access to your Google and Apple photo libraries, and enough space for transfers. Supported macOS versions and hardware will be confirmed before release.
Does it work with videos and Live Photos?
The app includes transfer paths for photos, videos and Live Photos. Availability depends on the source format and connection; final compatibility will be published with the release.
Will it delete my Google photos?
No. The app does not delete originals from Google Photos. Keep your own backups throughout any migration.
How much will it cost?
We plan a one-time purchase with a personal license for two Macs at a time. Pricing and final commercial terms are still being evaluated.
Is it made by Google or Apple?
No. Alive Transfer is an independent project. Google Photos, Apple Photos and iCloud are trademarks of their respective owners. Connections may be affected by changes to external services.
